Slap Your Momma Pork Chops!

Directions

Ingredients:

  • 4 Outwest Farms boneless pork chops (about 1” thick)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp kosher salt

  • 1 tsp coarse black pepper

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, smashed

  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary or thyme

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)

Instructions:

  1. Season the Pork

    • Pat chops dry, rub with olive oil.

    • Mix salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, onion powder, and cayenne → coat chops generously.

  2. Sear for Flavor

    • Heat skillet over medium-high.

    • Add chops, sear 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

  3. Make the Sauce

    • In same skillet, melt butter. Add smashed garlic + rosemary, sauté 1 min.

    • Stir in chicken broth, cream, and Dijon. Simmer until slightly thickened.

    • Add Parmesan, stir until smooth and creamy.

    • Finish the Chops
      • Return pork chops to skillet, spoon sauce over top.

      • Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook 5–7 minutes until chops reach 145°F internal.

    • Serve

      • Plate chops with creamy sauce drizzled over the top.

      • Best with mashed potatoes or garlic butter green beans.
